Why aren't model prices built in?
Companies change prices often, and models come and go, so built-in numbers go stale quickly. A cost computed from a wrong price is worse than none, so the tool asks you to copy today's price from the official page.
What is the difference between input and output tokens?
Input tokens are what you send: the prompt, documents, and chat history. Output tokens are what the model writes back. Most APIs price output higher than input, so the two are entered separately.
I don't know how many tokens a request uses.

Is the result the same as my bill?
